Kooyonga Chapel is a sponsor and the exclusive wine supplier for the Mansfield Races on Cup Day 2011! If you are at the races and have some wine, it'll be ours. If you are spending the weekend in Mansfield, come visit our stall at the Bush Market on Saturday to sample the wines and take some home.

It's the long weekend and everyone is starting to think about snow. If you are heading up to Mt. Buller this weekend, stop in and see us at the Mansfield Bush Market on Saturday from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. We are in stall 23 on Highett Street. There will be 185 stalls, so heaps of food, beverages and crafts to check out on the way up to the snow. You'll definitely need a few bottles of red for relaxing by the fire after skiing.

Kooyonga Chapel will have a booth at the Fed Square Wine Showcase on Wednesday and Thursday, the 1st and 2nd of June from 4:30-8:30 pm. Come visit us and taste a range of our wines including the award-winning 2005 Chardonnay.

We have opened the library and released some of our past vintages for sale on the Kooyonga Chapel website. Check them out under the wines heading for the opportunity to try some great drops from the mid-2000s. These wines have been cellaring at our winery and are now in their prime.

After one of the wettest summers on record, the team at Kooyonga Chapel worked through an extended harvest season. We started with the Sauv Blanc the first weekend of March and didn't finish until mid-April with the Merlot and Cab Sauv. Nevertheless, Kooyonga Chapel weathered the challenging season and has great expectations for its 2011 vintage. The next few months will be exciting as we see how these wines develop in barrel and tank.
